Mission-critical systems
Mission-critical system engineering and numeric
modeling for real-time simulation for avionics, space and military are one of the
main R&D directions of the Institute. IPMCE specialists have contributed to numerous safety and mission critical system development including design of
microelectronic controllers for satellite-based monitoring systems, software
verification of flight management systems and integrated display panels,
development of full authority digital engine controller for gas turbine engines,
etc.
Reliability, fault tolerance, response time and severe external
environment are the key distinctive features of mission-critical systems, developed
by IPMCE.
- Multidiscipline
system and real time software for full-flight simulators and test benches
- Full
Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC)
- Integrated

The most experience has been accumulated in development
and verification of microelectronic controllers for satellite-based monitoring space
systems, satellite flight ballistics, numerous
mathematical models and software for multidiscipline system and software real time simulation.
IPMCE specialists have an extended experience in
development of aircraft and helicopter engine models and FADEC software. These
models cover such systems as Fuel and Hydro Mechanical Units, Ignition, Thrust
Reverser, Oil Control, Starting, Auxiliary Power Plant, Integrated Flight Panel
Displays, Communication and Data link Systems, Sensors and Actuators. The
technical activities for model development are based on requirements of
International Air Transport Association (IATA).
Together with NASA
USA, CNES FR, Snecma FR, Sukhoi RU, Avidyne USA, General Electric USA and
several other world-known companies our specialists have contributed into
numerous international projects.
IPMCE’s strategic decision to invest into further knowledge growth and
development of engineering resources dedicated to custom software and hardware
development for avionics industry is based upon
